Well, here it is! The thing I had no interest in, laughed at and said I would never do...my own blog.
I have been toying with the idea of a blog for only a few months. My main problem was deciding what to call my blog and what to write about. I only decided on the name about 2 minuets before I checked it's availability but the more I think about it, the more I think it fits. While I plan to write on many things, I don't feel I fit neatly into any one category. I am, in no specific order and missing a lot I'm sure, a Doula, Mother, Wife, Artist, Home-maker, Christian, Naturalist and Lactavist. I have a recently discovered Dairy and Gluten allergy and a passion for pregnancy, birth, children and holistic living.
The interesting thing is, at one point in my life or another, I have been the opposite of almost all of those things. In truth, I am still on the journey, my opinions ever changing as I learn more and my experiences change. I believe we all are, or if we aren't maybe we should be. I believe there is absolute truth in God the Father revealed through the Bible and in his creation. As for the rest, I lean not on my own understanding or anyone else's entirely as the more we know, the more we know we don't know...
This will be a blog about my journey through knowledge and my understanding of it in any area that I feel the need to share. A place of Communication, Connection and Change.
